Civil Society Organizations & Media Coalition meet in Lagos as a follow up on the recently approved Oil and Gas Policy

Recall that in April 2018, a coalition of Civil Society and Media groups stormed PortHarcourt to brainstorm on the recently approved Oil and Gas policies which resulted in the development of an advocacy road map with timelines and measurable outcomes.

In the same vein, the coalition moved base to Lagos in line with the initial road map to follow up on the advocacy movement. The 2 day Lagos sessions had consultant presentations by Dr. Adeleye, Prof. Worika and Mr. Isreal and ended with both the Oil and Gas groups further strengthening their action plan with designated 6-month activities.
